20 Time

For my 10/14 20 time report, I am glad to say I have conducted extensive research of my own on bases overseas, discovering habits, vehicles, and other things the Marines and Active Duty personnel do. Among many, I found it surprising that soccer is one of the most popular sports played on base, being easy to learn, physically and mentally engaging, and easy to manufacture a field for. Also, I discovered that FOB bases are usually no bigger than a urban house sized lot, and hold nearly 200 soldiers. MRAPS are taking Afghanistan by storm, a heavily armored truck that many Marines couldn't feel safer in. Looking forward to my finished project next semester!
