In the article, "The Open Letter to 9th Graders," by Patrick Sullivan, he explained the reasoning of how and why early highschoolers should prepare for college. The main point of this article was to help you younger highschoolers to develop good habits that will help them further in the future. We agree with many things within the article because they are the facts and can and will improve the performance of those just entering high school. From actually attending college, putting your best effort into your writing, enjoying your writing, and even just listening better. The only thing we'd disagree with was how students should work through their panic, since trying to will just cause more in the long run and thus the student could develop risky habits to calm down, in turn, lowering their chances of graduating by miles.

  1. Thanks for giving credit to the article by starting with the title and author name. Great job!

Note: "high schoolers" is two words. Also, your paragraph would be stronger with more direct evidence from the article to support the main points you describe.
