Update on the Twilight Thing

Oh. My. God. Have you ever been so frustrated with a character that you want to knock some sense into them - with a frying pan? I'm in the middle of the second Twilight book, New Moon, and I am struggling to get through it. Not to be rude to Twilight fans, but Bella is not the sparkliest vampire on the block. Meaning: she's the most infuriating thing to read about because she keeps doing utterly idiotic things.

Anyway, I'm just working through the books right now, and when I finish, I'll work on my theory of why people like Twilight. Right now, I'm completely baffled.
