Our group has come to the conclusion that the author wrote this article to prepare us for the expectations in college. We found that most students will fail in college because they are immature or do not have the right skills for writing at the college level. We do agree that students need to acquire the right skills and habits before leaving for college. Though we disagree where the author states that socializing and taking advantage of our freedom is a bad habit. College should be not only a learning experience but a place to adventure and make new memories.
When summarizing, be sure to include the author's name and text title in your response. You should also be sure to use examples from the text to back up what you are saying.
