1. This week we are presenting our 20 time projects.
2. I have been working this week on my presentation. I'm doing an oral presentation to the class where I read a segment of my story.
3. I have made a lot of progress in this project and am very happy with it.

Have you ever craved pie, but you just wanted a piece or two? Or you want a flavor of pie that someone in your family doesn't? Well, I have the solution for you! I decided to make mini cherry pies that I baked in a cupcake pan and they were super easy and tasty. I had leftover homemade pie crust from Thanksgiving that I used, but you could also use store bought crust. You could also choose any filling that you wanted, but I just happened to have cherry filling on hand. The only ingredients that you will need to buy are pie crust and pie filling. This is a perfect snack for a night when you have your friends over and everyone is in the mood for pie of different flavors or just a midnight craving! My mom came up with the idea and we guessed on the baking amount.

Ingredients:

• Pie crust
• Cherry Pie filling
• egg whites (optional for dusting crust)
• cup for cutting out crust circles
• cinnamon and sugar (optional for dusting crust)
• cupcake pan
• oil for greasing pan 

Procedure: 

1. grease the cupcake pan
2. use a cup to cut out circle of crust
3. pre-heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
4. pour cherry pie filling into the crust 3/4 of the way full
5. cut four thin slices of crust and cross them over the cherry filling
6. paint on the egg whites over the top of the crust 
7. sprinkle the crust with cinnamon and sugar
8. place the pan in the oven 
9. set timer for 22 minutes
10. after 22 minutes, cool for five minutes and serve... ENJOY!

If you are a chocolate lover, then you are going to LOVE the chocolate lava cake that I made! It was probably one of the fastest and easiest desserts I have baked in a while. The only other lava cakes that I have had are the ones from Domino's pizza, but I believe that mine came pretty close to tasting just as yummy! I saw this recipe for a crock pot chocolate lava cake on Facebook a while back, but I forgot to save it so I looked up other recipes that might be similar. None of the recipe's that I found had similar ingredients to the one I found on Facebook. I was a little nervous about baking by what I thought the recipe was, but the lava cake ended up tasting delicious! Next time you go to the store, make sure to pick up a chocolate cake mix, chocolate pudding mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and milk for the lava cake. It is also nice to have a crock pot cover so you won't have to wash the crock pot when you are done baking. Making the lava cake will be a perfect midnight snack or a for when it is a snowy, cold night!

Ingredients: 

• Chocolate cake mix
• Chocolate pudding mix
• eggs 
• milk
• vegetable oil

Procedure:

• Make the chocolate cake mix and pour it in the crock pot
• Make the pudding (skip the chilling) and pour it over the cake mixture
• turn the crock pot on high
• set a timer for two hours
• put the lid on crock pot
• after two hours, put the crock pot on warm
• Enjoy!

Last week, I had to delete all of my Instagram accounts. They were making no progress. I was going to create a new account but my phone wouldn't let me. So I created a twitter account but that is making no progress. Even worse than the three Instagram accounts. So I think that I am going continue my project into next semester and create one Instagram account on someone else's device and see which topic get the most likes. From there I will see if there are more negative, positive, or neutral people on Instagram.

This week I attempted to make a caramel apple dessert pizza. I think that it would of tasted better if I wouldn't of burnt the sugar cookie crust! This dessert was very easy and quick. The prep time took about fifteen minutes and then you bake the crust for thirteen minutes. After the crust cooled, it took about ten minutes to put together the pizza. I liked cooling mine before I ate it too! This dessert would be perfect for the time around fall because of the caramel apples that are sprinkled over the top! The only difficult part about this dessert is getting the crust a perfect texture. If you think that the crust is looking golden, pull it out even if it still is a bit under-done in the center because it will still bake a little more in the pan once you take it out of the oven. My family really enjoyed the pizza and I will definitely make it again!

Sugar Cookie crust (can be bought at the grocery store in tubes)

Caramel Apple Topping:

• Two large apples, diced
• 1 can of club soda water (or ginger ale) 
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
• 1/2 cup caramel sauce (ice cream topping) 

Cream Cheese Frosting 

• 4 oz package cream cheese, softened
• 1/4 cup butter, softened 
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tbsp half-n-half, if necessary

1. Beat the cream cheese until smooth

2. beat in the softened butter

3. Mix in powdered sugar

4. Add vanilla and half-n-half, if necessary 

Assembly

1. Press dough into a greased 9x13 inch pan and bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 17 minutes. 
2. Put the diced apples in the club soda water immediately after dicing them. Soak them in the water for about 3 minutes and then drain the water. 
3. Spread the prepared cream cheese frosting on the cooled sugar cookie crust. 
4. Top with the diced apples, sprinkle with chopped pecans, and drizzle the caramel sauce over the top.

20 Time Week 12

This last week I created another blog post and video tutorial!  Go see it at www.everythingontop.wordpress.com !  I made my favorite cake frosting, German Chocolate Cake Frosting.  The picture I have included is from my most recent video!  As you can see, I’ve had a lot of fun making them!  This was in theme of my recent birthday.  Currently, I am starting my presentation.  I have been looking at and gathering stats from views on my blog and videos.  I hope to incorporate some clips from all my videos.  I am also starting to think about a recipe my classmates will enjoy.  I would like to bring in the last recipe I create this semester.  I will either bring it in after I make a video, of incorporate the class trying them in my video!

20 Time Update

This past week, I didn't get a whole lot done. However, I did finish uploading all of my pictures onto my computer, so now I just need to compile them into the video! My adventures have almost come to a close, except a have a couple more coming up over Thanksgiving break, including skiing in Keystone and Beaver Creek, so I'm looking forward to that! It's time to finish this project up!

20 time update

This week I been working on my google slides  presentation and have gotten close to my halfway mark. I hope to be done with my  presentation  by my next blogpost  and have started practing presenting it.

20 Time Update

This week we had a short 20 time, but I got a lot done. I was able to complete my presentation plan and make sure I am hitting all the standards. The I worked on a powtoons that is going to be part of my presentation. I am a little stumped on where I want to go with that, but I am working through it currently. I am also working on a script for my presentation, which will help me with my slideshow. Next, I need to post another Instagram picture, and keep pushing through the presentation and the other trouble spots. Although my project didn't go exactly as planned, (probably because of my extremely high goals) I am happy with where I am at, and with a little more research I can make it amazing. So right now I need to dig in and work hard on getting this finished!

20 Time Progress 11/11 - Bigler

This week I started on the presentation for my project. I am currently working to make sure that every requirement for the project is fulfilled. I plan to continue filling my presentation with attention-grabbing details and to finish the “Presentation Planning” doc. I’m excited to be finished with my project and on to the next great idea!

During 20 time this week I accomplished a decent amount, I wouldn't say a lot but I did get some of my presentation done. I worked on planning my note cards for when I present, I started to plan out my slides and the order of them on my final project. Currently, I am working on finishing the 20 time presentation checklist that is on classroom. I plan to finish the checklist and my final project next.

Even though I have completed some of my 20 time project, I still am finding myself behind. I am procrastinating and I'm planning on continuing the project through next semester. I think with a little extra time and hopefully some improved weather, I can finish this.

Today I am researching a little more just to see if I can find anything else about my topic. Then I want to make a third family recipe to verify my results that I have gotten. Next week I will have my final results and finish putting all the information into my presentation.  I will hopefully finish so I have a few class periods to decide what I am going to say during my presentation.

This week I have to continued to work on my project. Right now I'm working on finding some pictures and working on my presentation to the class. I plan to finish my project and start to practice my presentation.

20 time week 11/11

This week I watched the last of my videos on the basics of game design and all there is left to do is work on my presentation. I learned how to use camera movement. It is pretty simple and easy to use.

I've been working with the Cinderella musical almost constantly the last week and half or so, so I haven't done anything productive for my 20 Time project recently. I'm really trying to figure out how to present the project in a different way, unique from anything we did in our science classes. I plan to take a break next time I get the chance and brainstorm how to make something creative out of my star information. I'll definitely have to work on this.

20 Time Update

As it turns out, I am a lot busier than I though, and I don’t have much free time to work on this project, and I find myself falling behind. However, though I am not quite meeting the timeline that I had initially planned, I feel like I have enough to work with to make a successful presentation. This week, I got another post done, and I am currently working on my next post, along with starting to create my presentation. Next, I will work on more posts and finish my presentation. 20 Time Update #7

I was not able to complete much for this week for 20 time. Because of night rehearsals with drama club (which go from 5:30 to 9:30 give or take by the way), my time to shoot footage has been very minimal. Right now, I'm still finishing up filming along with getting some ideas for the presentation and tutorial. I plan to finish up filming by next week (at the most by the 18th of November) and start on editing and making the presentation and tutorial.

20 Time Update

Hello. Writing is hard. Very hard. It takes so much brain power, ok? To tell the truth, I really haven't made much headway with my story. I have almost completed chapter 5 though, which is more than last week! I have been really freaking busy though because for the rehearsal we've had to rehearse until 9:30 at night. I've had limited time on homework, which I haven't been able to spend on this, unfortunately.

Well for now I'm working on progressing through chapter five and into chapter six. I'm hoping to be through chapter 6 by next week or sooner. This probably won't happen because it's so hard to write and come up with your own story and be really, really creative. But oh well. I'll just have to work on it as much as I can. That's it for now!

This week I am going add my second tip for putting. I am also working on a blog post as well. I need to finish my 20 time presentation planning so I will be doing that as well. Next week I am planing to add another tip. I plan to have 10 tips total, so this will take a little more time than I thought. I plan to continue this for the next couple weeks. I also think I am going to have to continue this project into next semester.

Spiders are Friends, Update

Lately, I have been doing the presentation and giving it a lot of attention. I'm going to try to make sure that my presentation is as smooth as possible, however certain terms I am using are a bit difficult to remember. I have a whole lot of time though. I just recently got to spend my time looking for 'scared Ron Weasley gifs' which I am very proud to have in my search history.

Quite honestly I'm having the time of my life and have no regrets with all of the Weasley saved on this computer

I have most of my presentation done right now, but I have to go back to make it more interesting. I did the presentation planning thing on Classroom and that has helped me a little to organize myself and my thoughts, but it's still unclear on how it is going to work. I am going to start practicing my oral part of the presentation to get an idea of what the timing is going to look like and what I need to work on.

This week, I am still working on my project and collecting information. Right now I am planning on how to present my project and what I can still add to my project to make it good. Next, I am going to practice my presentation so I can keep from my mess ups when I am presenting.

This past week I didn't really achieve anything in twenty time.  I had big tests in other classes and didn't have a lot of time to do my testing.  This week will be different though because I don't have anything big taking up my time.  I'm going to finish my testing and then next twenty time I should be able to get most of my presentation done.

During this week's 20 Time, I have been focusing my project on research. This information is of the different cameras/camera apps that I am using for my project. What I am going to be working on after I get my research done, on the different cameras and places where the pictures were taken, I will still be collecting pictures and editing my presentation.

This week I worked on figuring out what format to use for my presentation and I worked on the presentation planning. I am now working on the planning and practicing. Next week I plan on having my presentation finished or close to finish.

20 Time Update
Last week I finished my research, and I started taking pictures. On Saturday and Sunday I photographed both my brothers, and I did a lot of experimenting with the camera settings and the location. This week I'm going to hopefully finish taking pictures and start editing them and maybe making a photo album. I also hope to start my presentation or at least the planning for it.

This week I was able to post another project. I only need two more to reach my goal. I am also working on my presentation. I think that I am almost done. I just have to make some adjustments. I am glad that we still have two more Wednesdays because I really need the work time. Overall, this week I continued to improve my project.

As our projects begin to come to a close, I've got some work to do! This week was kind of uneventful, and I didn't get around to working on my iMovie. I also didn't do much adventuring, so I haven't advanced much on my project! Right now, I'm just regrouping and getting caught up with uploading pictures and videos to iMovie since I was slacking last week! Next, I'll get to back work on my video soon, and I'll be squeezing a few more adventures in over the next couple weekends. I'm going to be back on track as soon as possible!

If we are being honest here, I am very behind on my 20 Time project. I am hoping that this Saturday I will become all caught up and even get some desserts done for the next week. I plan to bake two desserts this weekend and get caught up on my final project. I will also try to get caught up on my actual food bogs. The two desserts that I want to make on Saturday are this apple caramel pastry and personal pies in jars.

20 Time Update

For my 20 time project I haven't gotten very far because I have to buy ingredients from the store and I haven't scheduled a time to do that with my mom. I will set a scheduled time to get my materials with my mom as soon as possible. Once I get that done I'll do my project and do my presentation.

20 Time Week 11

This past week I have been very busy with other activities, and I wasn’t able to post.  But I know that this next weekend I am free to take as much time as I need to complete the blog post.  I might even make two if I have enough time.  Other than this past weekend, however, I think I am very close to my goal.  I have also started to think about my presentation and I hope to start it this week.  To keep the audience engaged, I want to bring in food.  But I’m trying to figure out a recipe that my class with enjoy the most.  I’m really working hard on my presentation and I hope that my class is impressed!!I also plan to compile some videos for my presentation.  Including interviews from people who have tried it would also be a great way to demonstrate how my project has been coming along.  Go see my blog at www.everythingontop.wordpress.com !
