20 Time Week 5

This week has mainly been focused on putting together and tweaking my elevator pitch.  Because this project is now done, I can focus more on my 20 time project.  Currently, I am putting together a recipe and laying out how my video will run.  It’s still in its early phase because I will not be posting this week.  I will film and post next weekend because I have already posted my elevator pitch to the blog.  I thought this would help my readers learn more about my project.  It’s also very funny, so I advise you to go watch it at www.everythingontop.wordpress.com !  But overall, this project has been going pretty well and I’m still pumped to keep going!

20 Time Update #4

This week was not very eventful at all. Some jokes in the non school script were removed or added and the elevator pitch was changed from a video to a live speech. I'm still working hard on the scripts, and next time, at least one script MUST be finished (keep that in mind, future me).

The Food Blogger

This week I accomplished finishing and presenting my elevator pitch. Right now I am figuring out what dessert I am going to bake and blog about first. I plan to bake homemade cinnamon rolls and time how long they take me to complete baking them.

20 Time Week 4

During the course of this week, I have been accumulating views for my first video!  However, I did delete it off youtube because of a spelling error.  After I fixed it, I reposted it, but my views have disappeared!  Please help it gain more views and go to www.everythingontop.wordpress.com !  I’m so excited because I’m really starting up my blog.  Many have seen it and many have replied and complimented my work! 20 time update 4

This week I finished a first draft of my elevator pitch. Now I am currently working on getting more research on government  facilities and editing my elevator pitch. Next I hope to have all my research done and move on to my  presentation and interviews.

20 time update 3

This week I discovered that there is a secret facility in Dulce New Mexico. Where a battle took place killing 60 humans. I found some shocking information about what the government might know about aliens. Next I hope to find more facilities related to that topic to back up my information. Now I am currently working on my elevator pitch.

20 Time Update

This week, even though we didn't have 20 time, I got a whole lot done! I completed my elevator pitch video and went on 3 new adventures! I went hiking in Horsetooth and at Devil's Backbone, horseback riding in Estes, and tubing at an island in Fort Collins! Now, I'm working on logging all of my adventures and organizing pictures and videos into the iMovie so that I'll have a head start when it comes time to create final product. Next up, I'll present my pitch to the class, and of course, continue adventuring!

This week has been uneventful with 20 Time. I haven't had much progress with it and it is kind of on the bottom of my priority list right now. I got my elevator pitch done, so at least I am making some progress. I have been focusing more on my narrative for class, but I'll try to work on it more throughout the long weekend and whenever I have time.

20 Time Update

This week for 20 time I haven't gotten a lot done. But I have been working on my elevator pitch which is a Powtoon. What I'm going to do next is go shopping this weekend to buy candy and things from America to send to Leo and Almedina and they are going to send me a box back. We will get to try new things from eachother's countries which will be really cool!

20 Time Update #3

This week was mildly performance filled. I managed to get halfway through the non-school appropriate script and got some ideas for the first half of the school appropriate version. I'm working on the second half of the non-school version right now and I plan to have the first script completed by next week. (Warning: The non-school version is really, really messed up at this point, just so you know what to be aware of.)

20 Time-Heidi Hartley

This week for 20 time I really worked hard and accomplished a lot. I finished the final product for my Powtoons elevator pitch. I also have been recording all of my cross country practices and their mileage. So far I have been recording my workouts everyday, and thinking and planning for how I should present my final product to the class. Next, I want to record my basketball workouts, because basketball open gyms start in two weeks.

20 Time Week 4

I haven't worked very hard on it. I wasn't thinking about it because of sports and other classes. I did think about ideas. Also we haven't had any Wizard days so I haven't been thinking about in. There are problems that need to be fixed i my game. Also I changed my game from flappy bird to a bird's eye view game. It is harder that flappy bird  but it is more fun and I'm not copying.

This week I was able to finish most of my 20 time proposal and edit it. Right now I am add finishing touches to my proposal and next I plan to research about catapults and see how they are made the the history on them.

CANcer 20 Time Project

This past week I really dug into my project. I have been posting to my Instagram page and have even begun getting some people to see it. I also started watching a documentary. I started a notes document and found out some really interesting things about Cancer and the research being done. Right now, I am posting to my Instagram every other day. I want to up that hopefully to everyday! Next, I plan to continue growing my Instagram page by advertising on some other big accounts! I am also going to finish the documentary and continue my research.

This past week I finished my Elevator Pitch, and I will continue to work on memorizing it to present to the class in the next few weeks. After my pitch I will be starting my research, and collecting information on each stage in the life of a star. There's really not much more going on, all I have to do next is present.

20 Time Week 3 Progress - Bigler

This week I officially began learning Portuguese. I have already covered the basics and can translate a few simple phrases. I am currently working on making more progress in learning the language, as well as preparing my pitch for presentation. I plan to continue completing Duolingo badges as well as begin the search for a piece of literature to translate at the end of the semester. It has been a little difficult attempting to learn Portuguese while I am also starting to learn German. Sometimes I translate a phrase into German when I am supposed to translate it into Portuguese. However, by practicing them at different times it is easier for me to keep them separated in my mind. I am ready for another week of fun!

This week I worked with Abby to start towards our elevator pitch completion. We worked out the kinks of our project and are ready to start. I plan to finish our presentation by Tuesday and begin our project Monday.

20 Update 3

This week pretty much all I've done is work on my 20 Time pitch because I started over since my last video I started was pretty bad. So this week I'm going to keep working on my pitch, hopefully finish it, and maybe start researching aspects of writing a good song.

I got a lot of my elevator pitch done and am really close to finishing it. I am going to finish my elevator pitch and then get as much research on the mechanics of chokes as I need. I then plan to start my slide show.

This week I took 2 lessons through The School of Interactive Design on using the game engine GameSalad. Right now All I can really do is work on the concepts and learning how to use the tools. I can't really start yet because I don't know how to use the tools. I do hope to start working on sketches of characters and writing the story. I might contract some other student to design posters or make music for the game. I plan on working on the story and taking more lessons next 20 time.

This week I completed researching densities and learned a lot about what the outcome of my project will likely be. Right now I am working on the physical project and completing the hitting process. I plan on finishing the current process by the weekend.

20 Time Week 3

I finally have a template that I'm ready to use, now that I've done all the math.  I'm starting the folding process, and hope to finish after three classes of work time.  I have all my lines drawn, and am ready to go.  Hopefully I won’t fail that much.  I’m planning on doing my elevator pitch this weekend, and continually going back and revising it.

This week I went to the putting green and found out many tips for putting. I look up online to find more tips and I tried them. I went and tested all these tips to see if they actually help you make more putts. What I have discovered is that many of these tips actually help you make more putts. I plan on working on my pitch this week and right now I am just starting my pitch now.

This week, I am continuing to work on my elevator pitch. I am starting to get my thoughts together and format the pitch how I want it. I will start to create my blog and start some research for my first blog posts. I am still deciding how I want to format it, when I want to post, what I want my posts to include, and how I want to get the information for my posts. I have a lot to work on, but I have a plan and I am ready to dive into the project.

This week was very productive I finished Tuesday's with Morrie , Interviewed a resident, worked on our Morrie Biography, and watched Tuesday's with Morrie.  The interview with a resident went well over all, but I did not get to hear as many stories as I wanted too.  I am currently preparing to present my elevator pitch.  Next on the list is to finish the biography of Morrie and actually present my Top 20 pitch.

Update on the Twilight Thing

Oh. My. God. Have you ever been so frustrated with a character that you want to knock some sense into them - with a frying pan? I'm in the middle of the second Twilight book, New Moon, and I am struggling to get through it. Not to be rude to Twilight fans, but Bella is not the sparkliest vampire on the block. Meaning: she's the most infuriating thing to read about because she keeps doing utterly idiotic things.

Anyway, I'm just working through the books right now, and when I finish, I'll work on my theory of why people like Twilight. Right now, I'm completely baffled.

20 Time Blog Post #2

My 20 Time project, my book that I'm writing, is going...fairly well, I suppose. It's going pretty slow, but it's going! I have most of it planned out; the only thing is to get it all written down in time.

(Only 18 pages?! How much more brain power do I need to get up to at least 20!!!)

Next, I'm planning on getting to at least 25 pages. It seems like a bit of a stretch, but that's my goal. Who knows if I'm even going to make it to 20 pages?! But I'm going to try! That's it for now!

This week I wrote my entire pitch and now all I have to do is record it. I thought of diffrent ways to sell my topic and make it sound more important and interesting. Next class I will present my pitch so I will have to record it at home, so it is ready by next class. I may edit my pitch a little bit too.

This week I worked on the experiment part of my 20 time project. So far I have shot 200 out of my 1000 shots. I have also researched my project as well.

20 Time Update #2

Plenty of work has gotten done throughout this past week. Work on both scripts has begun (More than halfway through both intros so far), and some thought has gone into the tutorial, but only a little bit. Right now, I'm finishing up the intros to begin work on the review part of the scripts. I plan to get halfway through at least one script by the next update. So yeah, joy.

Spiders are Friends

    Today, serious spider progress has been made. Well, not when it comes to research, but when it comes to the Pitch, I have met a milestone having finished it almost. Spiders aren't pretty but I did find some really adorable spiders earlier on the internet.

Anyways, The elevator pitch is nearly done and my research is currently at a halt to let me work further on other things, such as this blogpost. And looking at adorable mini jumping spiders.

This week, I actually changed my 20 Time project idea. I am now writing a short story on the Holocaust because I think realistically it's more time efficient and altogether more interesting for me. Right now, I'm finishing my Elevator Pitch. Next, I plan to start my research on the Holocaust and come up with an outline.

This week for my 20 Time work I haven't done much more than working on my pitch and practicing it. I am going to work on finding some data on my 20 Time project of student athletes vs. uninvolved students. This week I am going to continue practicing my pitch and looking up information to put in to my project.

This week I have accomplished creating most of my elevator pitch, but know I've run into the problem of how to actually hook the audience and strike up a conversation. I'm thinking of starting off with something humorous since I tend to listen to someone if they have something witty to say. 20 Time Week Three - Noah Hays

This week during 20 Time, I accomplished quiet a bit. The only thing I completed was the Elevator Pitch. Now, I know that doesn't sound like getting a lot done, but I completed the whole thing except for recording it. My Elevator Pitch is a just me talking to a professor named Professor Hotchkins about why he should fund my project. My project is to solve time. Now that I have completed the Pitch, I am going to start reading articles and essays that Stephen Hawking and Einstein have written.

Twenty-time blog post 9/16/15

This week I am reviewing and editing my elevator pitch, so its ready to go by the 30th. right n I am starting to dive far into my research, many scientist have many opinions on weather we can make dinosaurs or not. My latest research told me hat many scientist believe that we take a chicken(descendant of the velociraptor) and genetically modify to give it a tail, teeth, and even claws by finding the genes it carries from its ancestors. Next I'm going to start my presentation and continue research.
