20 Time Update

I am now over halfway done with my book. It isn’t as crisp as the professional examples, but the lightning bolt is obviously there.  Hopefully, I can finish by semester and maybe start on Chamber of Secrets.  I'm not as far along as I thought I would be, but it's turning out better than I hoped.

This week I am going to putting all my putting tips into a presentation and adding pictures as well. The pictures will help to describe and give a better understanding of the tips. Right now I am working on putting all these tips in the presentation. Next, I plan to continue this. This is going to take a bit of time to get all put together so I plan on working on this for the next few weeks.

20 Time

The presentation is in progress and it is going well. I enjoy doing the project itself and want to keep doing it. I plan to continue the presentation. 

I’m about ¾ done with my research. Right now I’m finishing up my research. Next week I will be done with my research, and I will start on my project.

This week I have accomplished working out and continued to eat healthy. Also I have been drinking plenty of water. Right now I am starting on my presentation. Next I plan to enhance my video by adding music and pictures to show what I have done.

My 20 time project is definitely not making any progress. I need to figure out how to get followers without following a bunch of people. I don't think that people know that my accounts exist. So far on each account I have posted about 9 pictures all relating to the topic. On each account I mostly have mostly people who are liking my pictures but they don't want to follow me! I think that I might have to continue next semester or start a new project if things don't start shaping up!

20 time post week 10/28

This week I learned how to use things like timers and groups when working with actors. I learned that you can make an actor spawn another actor so you can do things like make chicks lay eggs. Then I learned how to make an actor move around when you tell them to so it's like your controlling them.

This week I accomplished writing a couple poems for my poem book. Next, I am planning on writing more poems to add to my collection of poems. My goal is to start putting my poems into a presentation soon. http://theexpressivepress.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/writing-center-wordlie.jpg

I probably should finish the Twilight series soon, but it's taking a while because I cannot convince myself that reading it will bring me pleasure. It's tedious, but at least there's apparently going to be a big battle or something soon at the climax, which I'm quite looking forward to. Some action in the series would be greatly appreciated. I'm honestly just tired of the whole series. There's plot holes and stupid characters galore, and even though the writing isn't bad, the plot might as well be a beehive filled with mud. No offense to any Twilighters intended.

This week I started finishing up the interviews and putting them in my presentation. I'm working on adding more to my presentation to make it longer. Next, I plan on getting it done as quick as I can.

This week I have one of my recipes made with my grandma and have one of my test completed. From here on out all I have to do is bake my second recipe and compare it to old family recipes. Today I will be imputing all the information I collected into my presentation. After I make my next recipe and talk to my family about how it tastes.  Then I will input the information into my presentation and then I will be done with my 20 time project.

20 Time

I accomplished my second drawing which I changed from a match sculpture to a vibrant colored drawing. I am working on my third thing, which I have decided will be a different take on a bird using different mediums. I plan to finish the 3rd project and start on the 4th.

This week I started translating a poem for my final presentation. I am currently working to translate the words I know. I will then go back and look up words if I need to. My goal is to not use Google Translate until I am ready to check the whole poem. After I complete that I will be working on my final presentation.

20 Time Update #6

This week had some production in it. I managed to get some live-action filming done, mainly intros and outros. I'm now working on other live action parts in both scripts. I plan on getting most, if not all, of the live action parts filmed and the movies put into the editing software, although it definitely will take some searching to get a green screen for a scene or two.

This week I have completed a lot of work this week.  I have advanced in The Book Thief, done a Foreshadowing worksheet, and added some more words to my vocabulary.  Right now I am continuing further research on my 20 time project.  I am also working on reading through the Book Thief.  Next I plan to amp up my presentation for 20 time.

I got the websites I used into easybib and got some more research done. I am getting more researching done. I am planing on shooting some patterns to get some physical evidence.

This week I worked more on writing my poem and getting the music right. I am working on finishing my poem and figuring out the images that I want to create for my video. Next I want to start working on the animation and film for my video.

20 Time Update

So...I haven't made much progress on my story.

Ok, before you guys say that I'm a slacker and lazy, you should try writing an original story! It's really not as easy as it seems. This week I've mostly taken a break from writing and I've been revising and editing what I have instead. This week, however, I'm going to write a lot more. I need to get to at least chapter 13 by the end of this semester, as you know, and I need to get writing if I want to reach that goal! Today I'm going to well, get going on the writing that needs done. I think that I'm not going to edit any more until I'm done with the writing; that way I can just get it over with. Well, that's about it!

Spiders are Friends, Update

Doing good so far, progress is being made with the project and I'm doing well with rewriting the script because I keep forgetting where I'm putting it. Oh well. Besides, the project is alright and the pictures are fun to look at at when they aren't creepy. I'm pretty ready for this project, I just need to find a way not to cringe when I see the scary ones...

20 Time

This week, I started my presentation in google slides. Unfortunately I don't have too many great ideas to put in it. I still need to get at least one idea that is applicable for this project. I still need to find that and finish my presentation.

Reis

This week I finished my recordings for all three weeks of our experiment. Now we are working on figuring out what format we will use for our presentation. Next we plan to complete our final presentation and practice it.

This week I accomplished writing another song off of UJAM. That has been the second song I wrote so far. Right now I'm touching up both songs and changing chords to match the style of song. I plan to upload my songs and start working on my presentations now.

Currently, I need to have another cello lesson. I am very behind on my lessons, and I have only had one. I printed out a chart to keep track of what I accomplished during the lesson, whether I even did the lesson, and the lesson dates. My dad and I both have very busy schedules, so it is usually really hard to coordinate with each other. Now I am starting to worry about whether or not I will have enough time to learn some songs. Fingers crossed!

20 Time Update

This week I haven't been able to do much research or work on my presentation, so not much has changed. I am still trying to work on my presentation and collecting information. I hope to be able to finish the presentation by the end of next class we work on our projects. After my presentation is finished I want to memorize my presentation and what I will say to the audience.

20 TIME UPDATE :)

This week I didn't really focus on my twenty time project because I was studying for my test, but I'm still on track to be ready to present in December because I just have to add my final finishing touches to my presentation. I plan on doing that this week and then the weeks after researching for more information that I could add to my presentation to make It even more interesting.

This week I haven't done much, because I've been really busy. But I am planning on doing my photo shoots probably this week or next, because I want to make sure the scenery shows the beauty of autumn, with all the colorful leaves. Right now I'm finishing up researching.

20 Time - Week Seven

          For this week's 20 Time, I haven't has the opportunity to accomplish anything this week because I need both cameras to take pictures. Therefore, what I am working on right now is just planning where and when I need to take photos. I plan on taking many non-comparison and comparison photos and adding the photos to my presentation.

Maroon 20time Holdup: Please Help!!!

PLEASE HELP!!!!! I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO GET ANYTHING DONE BECAUSE NO ONE WANTS TO HELP!!!!! ANYONE IS WELCOME TO HELP!!!!!

For my 20 time project I have meditated twice now and tried two different techniques. I have been writing down my thoughts in a google doc and have decided to expand on techniques. I am unsure of how I want to present my project and can't decided if I want to present orally and demonstrate my techniques, or of I want to make a google slides and put in pictures of the techniques I tried. 

20 Time update

Last week I made no bake Oreo bars and they were a success! I also worked on putting my Oreo bars into my final presentation. Right now I am figuring out when I am going to bake my next project, pumpkin bars. I don't think I will need to purchase anything for this dessert because my mom likes to keep a large supply of pumpkin (in a can) on hand. I plan to bake this on Saturday morning for my family.

20 Time week 9

This week I am a little behind.  I wanted to post last weekend, but I didn’t have the time to post.  I have made my recipe and filmed, but I have yet to film a few more shots.  Right now, I am looking ahead to my next recipe so I don’t fall too behind.  Thursday or Friday I would like to post to my blog my Halloween recipe.  The weekend after Halloween will be when I will post next.  Our presentations are also in the near future, so I am beginning to think about what it will be about.  I would like to bring in food so others in the class can try what I have been creating.  Also, who wouldn’t be paying attention to my presentation if I bring food?!  I was also thinking I could include statistics of how many views my blog has received.  You can go see my blog at www.everythingontop.wordpress.com !

20 Time Update

This past week, I accomplished a lot without knowing it! At first, I was bummed because I couldn't go on any adventures over the weekend because of softball. But with all of the excitement of becoming regional champions and qualifying for state, I realized that I was already an adventure in itself! Right now, I've started my iMovie and I've uploaded some pictures. Next, I'm planning to keep working on my video. Also, I have a really exciting experience coming up this weekend: having dinner with the Green Bay Packers' kicker Mason Crosby and then going to the Packers vs. Broncos game the next day! I'm doing well on my project and I'm so excited for what's to come!

20 time

This week, I worked on putting my descriptions into my presentation. I also researched a lot about culture and how food is a big part of each country and its history. I am working on finishing up my project and would like to finish soon and start practicing soon. I also want to try even more foods. So far, my project is going really well and smoothly.

20 Time Progress-Hannah Bornhoft

This week, I have been very productive with my 20 Time Project. I have finished the words that I am going to put into my picture, finishing with a total of 203 words. I might go back and add some if when I start to draw my picture I feel that there needs to be more. But, for now, that portion is finished. Now, I am starting to look at inspiration for what the actual picture is going to be. I have a few ideas, but I need to narrow it down. That is what's coming next and hopefully I'll get to be drawing and actually creating this thing soon.

20 Time Update

There isn't really anything new this week, I'm just continuing to focus on learning the algorithms for the 5x5, while still making sure I remain proficient with solving the 4x4. I have two of the algorithms for the 5x5 almost memorized, and I will continue to solve it many times in order to solidly memorize those two algorithms, and to start memorizing the other eight as well. For my presentation, since It would take too long to simply solve both cubes, I may only solve one of them, or alternatively I may simply demonstrate some patterns on both cubes, such as the super flip, or the cube in a cube patterns, shown below on the 5x5.

Blog post-10/28/15

This week for my 20 Time project I accomplished an ample amount, I finished my first two slides for my final project and their note cards. I am currently progressing on my data sheet for my basketball workouts. I am also working on my final project. Next week, I will have another week of basketball workouts done that I will be able to add in my total data worksheet.

20 Time Update

This week I started my presentation for 20 Time and transferred some of my information onto it. I am still working on my presentation and I plan to keep working on it until I am done.

The Dessert Blogger

Last week, I baked my first dessert, took pictures of the steps, and put the pictures onto a google presentation. Right now I am figuring out what ingredients I need to buy for my next dessert. I plan to make Oreo bars on Friday night and work on my presentation next Wednesday during class.

I got some materials for my 20 time project this week. Right now I'm working on getting even more of the supplies I need to finish my 20 time project. What I plan to do next is to start making my project once I have all the supplies.

This week I accomplished all but one phrase down in my signing vocabulary for the song. This week I am revising the song and setting up my format for my final presentation. Next I will work on my presentation itself.

20 time Ukulele project

I am still trying to decide the song I want to do for the presentation. I might do somewhere over the rainbow but since I might be singing, It is very high to sing. I am working on the strumming pattern, and the picking. I plan to know what song I want to do, and learning how to play it.

A Break from 20 Time

This week we didn't have 20 Time in class, so I didn't get to work on it at all. I'm working on getting this project under my belt, and making it more of my priority. But, since we didn't have 20 Time this week, I took a little bit of a break.

20 Time Update

I've been doing basically the same process I have been for the last couple weeks: learn a song, practice the song, get ready to record the song. I haven't gotten the chance to record a song this week, but I've been figuring out the instrumentals. I've been writing the notes to the songs in alto clef since I play viola and am still learning how to read treble and bass clef, since those are the clefs used in piano, but the notes are still the same. I recently began learning one of my all time favorite songs by one of my all time favorite bands, "Hey Jude" by the Beatles. I already know the lyrics, but the instrumental is a little more difficult because there are a lot of changes between naturals and sharps.

Currently, I'm using manuscript paper, which is basically just paper with blank staffs (the 5 lines musical notes are written on) to write the notes in. I don't start with a key signature since I'm not sure what's going to be in the music in the beginning because I find it by ear. I almost always start writing notes to songs in 4/4 since that is what's most commonly used.

I plan to record a bunch of music this week, some with just the audio, and some on video. I've been keeping the files on a flash drive to be able to transfer them onto whatever I choose to use for my presentation.
